Last week’s pep rally was one for the books! We celebrated our senior athletes, rocked out with the drumline, cheer, and Cougarettes, played musical chairs, and even watched Champ take on the Hyde Park Panther in an epic lightsaber duel. See all the fun photos on our Flickr page.

Last week, our Drumline and Field Band wowed GCS family and friends with an incredible showcase! Drumline featured pieces from their 10th Tier 1 State Title-winning set, and Field Band performed music that earned them a First Division rating at TAPPS. So proud of our talented musicians! Kindergarten students were visited by Tiffany Damskov, the Executive DIrector of the East Texas branch of Meals on Wheels. She shared about how the volunteers and workers at Meals on Wheels are community helpers. Kindergarten students made placemats to gift to meals on wheels recipients, demonstrating that they can be community helpers also.
